1. Make sure your computer is booted and connected to the Internet.
Your computer’s operating system must be by Microsoft (that
is, one of Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP),
Apple (that is, Mac OS X or higher), or Linux. Your web browser
should be one of Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or higher, and
preferably verison 5.0 or higher), Netscape Navigator (version
7.0 or higher), Mozilla Firefox (version 1.0 or higher), or
Opera (version 7.0 or higher). In addition, to run the Flash
casino your browser needs to have the Macromedia Flash Player
plugin (version 7.0 or higher) installed; you can obtain this plugin
from the Macromedia
website.
2. Click the flashing button marked "SIGN UP"
on the right side of this screen.
3. You will be taken to the first signup page. Fill in
all the fields on
this page, then press "Continue>>".
4. You will be taken to the second signup page. Fill in
as many fields as are relevant --- the bold fields are required --- then
press "Accept Terms and Submit>>".
5. You will be taken to the welcome page. To purchase
chips, press the Cashier button. (You may play for fun (i.e. not for money)
if you wish; if so, choose the "Fun" button, then press the
Select Game button. Then skip to step 14 of these instructions.)
6. You will be taken to the main cashier page. To purchase
chips, you must add a payment method, so please choose which payment method
you would like to use from the add payment drop-down menu, then press
the Go button beside the drop-down menu.
7. You will be taken to an appropriate payment method
page. Please fill out the relevant information and press the submit button.
8. You will now be notified if your card has been added
to your profile. If it has not, please correct any errors that have occurred.
9. You will now be taken back to the main cashier page.
First, type the amount you wish to purchase in the deposit box. Note that
you are purchasing chips in US funds. Next, press the Go button.
10. You will be taken back to a payment options page.
Under "MAKE a deposit", there is a drop-down menu with the payment
method you just added. Press the Go button beside this drop-down menu.
11. If your deposit makes you eligible for a bonus, you
will be given the option of accepting or declining this bonus. Read the
instructions carefully before deciding whether or not to accept the bonus.
12. You will be taken to a "Please Wait" page,
which will remain until your transaction request has completed successfully
or has failed with an error.
13. Once the "Please Wait" page is done its
payment processing, you will go to a "Success" page. Click "Play"
to proceed to the select game page.
14. You may be prompted as to whether
you want to install "AvailableTables.cab" distributed by Eyeball
Networks Inc. First, check the box which says, "Always trust content
from Eyeball Networks Inc.", then press "Yes". (If you
fail to check the box, you will be asked this questions many times. If
you are so asked, always press "Yes".) The load may take some
time, so please be patient.
15. In the centre of the next page will be list of available
tables to
choose from. Select the table you would like by clicking on it. This will
activate a diagram of the available seats; to select a game, select an
empty seat.
16. You will be taken to the game page, featuring the
game type that you have selected. You will be downloading a number of
ActiveX controls, so the initial load of this game may take some time.
(Once the load is done, you will not have to download those versions of
the controls ever again.) Be patient, as the web page status may mislead
you by saying it's "Done".
17. Once the controls have finished loading, you should
see an
active video window in the upper left quadrant of the screen. To its right
should be a text chat box welcoming you to CasinoWebcam.com. In the lower
left quadrant of the screen you should see the current time, some information
about you and about the game, and (if you're playing for fun) an invitation
to play for real money. To the right of this information you should see
the game you have selected.
18. If the video fails to load, an error message will
appear in the
box in the upper left quadrant of the screen. Please try reloading the
page by pressing "F5" key on your computer or by pressing the
Refresh button on your browser).
19. To use the text chat, simply type in the text box
beside the
"Send" button and press enter or "Send". As people
join and leave the table, their comings and goings will be recorded in
the text chat window.
20. To play the game, you must wait until the game announces
"taking bets" (or, in the case of Caribbean poker, "taking
antes"). Then click on the denomination of chip that you wish to
place on the table. This will change your cursor to that chip denomination.
Then you can simply click on the table where you want to place that chip.
If you are playing the Flash casino, you can remove any chips from
the table before confirming your bet by pressing and holding the
Shift key, then clicking on the chip you wish to remove.
Be sure to press "Confirm" before the clock time expires; otherwise,
your bet won’t count!
21. Depending on which game you play, there may be other
actions you need to do. In particular, Caribbean poker will ask you whether
you want to bet or fold, and blackjack will ask you whether you want to
hit or stand or (possibly) split, double down, or buy insurance. If you
are not familiar with the rules of the game you have chosen, you may press
the Help button (in the upper right quadrant of the screen, to the right
of the text chat box) at any time.
22. When the result of the round has been determined,
it will be displayed in the status area (immediately below the text chat
box), and the result will be added to the history (if appropriate). The
game will then tell you whether you won or lost, and how much. The cycle
begins anew once the game announces "taking bets" (or "taking
antes") again.
23. To change games, press the Select Game button on the
far right of your screen. This will launch a separate window with the
same table picker that you saw in step 16 on the select game page; perform
the same actions you did there to select a new game. Be aware that you
may join a table which is in the middle of a round; you will have to wait
until the round is over before the game announces "taking bets"
and you can proceed as in step 20.
24. To purchase more chips, press the Cashier button on
the far right of your screen. This will launch a separate window with
the same cashier that you saw in step 6.
25. To receive help with the rules of the game, or how
to place
bets, press the Help button.
26. To view or edit the information in your profile or
history, press the User Info button.
27. To log out, press the Logout button. This will close
any child
windows (with the cashier, help, user info, or change game information),
and log you out of the game. IF YOU HAVE CONFIRMED BETS ON THE TABLE THE
GAME WILL CONTINUE AND CHOOSE AUTOMATIC ACTIONS FOR YOU! To play again,
you must log in again.
